Ecommerce Retailer

Introduction

Our client was facing a "happy problem" - sales volume was increasing, both on her ecommerce website and through her offline sales. Like most start-up online retailers, she had started her online business with a Wordpress site built with an e-commerce plugin. However, the ecommerce plugin was not longer adequate for keeping track of her online and offline sales, stock levels and profit margins. We recommended using Odoo to manage her inventory and offline sales, and integrating Odoo with her existing website to track online sales.

Inventory Management

Managing her sales and procurement using Odoo has made it easy for our client to manage her business. Whenever new goods are received from suppliers, a quick update in Odoo will update stock levels in the system as well as on her website, ensuring that online buyers do not see an "Out of Stock" message.

Integration with e-commerce websites

Odoo has modules that connect to a variety of commonly used e-commerce sites, including:
  • Magento
  • OsCommerce
  • PrestaShop
  • WooCommerce
We can also develop a custom connector if your website does not use any of the above services.

Timely reports

Like all well-run businesses, our client required timely information on her profits, best selling products and top valued customers. We were able to set up those reports easily with Odoo.
